This section will review a scripture or series of scriptures and attempt to give an understanding of them in their context. I believe that what I am saying on these pages, is my understanding based upon what has been given to me by The Holy Spirit. It is God's Spirit that will teach us the truth of scripture and that scripture is to interpret scripture.  References to the original languages in Hebrew and Greek and teachings of scripture by means of any theological sources are considered as long as they do not conflict with the inspired teachings of the Spirit.      To some, saying that the Holy Spirit guides you is a simplistic answer to how one comes up with biblical teachings. However, it took me some time to realize, that this is truly the only way to know God's truth. 

             Pick up the Bible and start reading it. Can you understand everything clearly the first time? Although Scripture alone is all that is needed to form a firm belief in God and His word, because of the translations that have occurred from the original text, it is difficult sometimes to get a clear understanding of some of the verses (as an example, see Luke 14:26 below). I had a lot of struggle with this, but after prayer and research, true understanding came.       This section includes part of the biblical studies I have done.
